In conjunction with UTAR’s 20th anniversary celebration, UTAR Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS) Department of Management and Accountancy lecturer Chan Wan Ling set up a char keuy teow stall near the Kampar Public Market parking lot to raise funds for the Hospital. She managed to raise RM2,121 with the help of other lecturers and students from CFS.

When asked about what motivated her to initiate the effort, she explained that the char keuy teow stall, set up by her team, was one of the many activities held by UTAR’s various departments to celebrate the occasion of UTAR’s 20th anniversary.

She added, “We are indeed honoured to be part of this project and contribute to the building of UTAR Hospital. It was our first time doing something like this so we did not set any target. We just tried to do as much as we could. We are glad that the response was overwhelming. This would have not been possible without the hard work and cooperation of CFS staff and students. I would like to thank the CFS family for their support in raising funds for such a good cause.”
