Mdm On Yoke was born on 1 February 1925 in Kluang, Johor, Malaysia. Her ancestral home is Changqing Town, Anxi County, Fujian Province, China. In 1948, she married her late husband, Mr. Lim Swee Guan. Together, they were blessed with three sons and six daughters. Among their nine children, Dato’ Dr. Lim Teck Ting is the sixth. Their only adopted son is Tan Sri Dato’ Ong Hooi Lim, a distinguished figure.
Though she had many children in the early years and life was difficult, she never sighed nor complained, nor did she blame heaven or others. Instead, she nurtured her family with forbearance, wisdom, and love. Even amid poverty and hardship after marriage, she gritted her teeth, practiced diligence and thrift, and endured hardship to raise all nine children to adulthood—her labor and contributions were truly immense.
Mdm On Yoke embodied the virtues of kindness and generosity, ever ready to extend a helping hand and sow blessings widely. Having reached the venerable age of one hundred, she enjoys abundant blessings, with descendants of great accomplishment. Within her family are four PhD holders, three dentists, and many chartered accountants, lawyers, engineers, master’s and bachelor’s degree holders, as well as outstanding entrepreneurs.
Even in her advanced years, she continues to uphold the virtues of tolerance, magnanimity, and open-mindedness, never fussing over trivial matters.

纵然早期孩子眾多,生活清苦,她绝不唉声叹气,怨天尤人,反之用包容,智慧和慈爱浇灌家人.
即使婚后日子贫寒艰辛，她仍然咬緊牙关,勤俭节约,含辛茹苦的把九位孩子抚养成人,劳苦功高.
王玉女士秉承与人为善,慷慨解囊的善举美德,广种福田.她百岁高寿之年,福澤绵绵,子孙彬彬,人才辈出,家族中擁有四位博士,三位牙医,多位特许会计师,律师,工程师,硕士,学士及出类拔萃的成功企业家.
虽已达期颐之年,她处事为人乃然秉持容事容人,不拘小节的美德.
